Origin Story
After graduating with a BS in Video Production from New England School of Communications in 2017, Ethan Levesque established Northern Oak Media to effectively enter the wedding videography industry. Over the next 5 years, Northern Oak Media built a dynamic team of visual artists in Bangor Maine, and encouraged the growth of many local video professionals.
In 2022 Northern Oak Media expanded into the marketing industry, offering video, photo, web, and social media solutions to local brands, businesses and nonprofits. Today, sister company Northern Oak Memories continues to serve wedding and event clients, while Northern Oak Media serves the corporations and organizations that matter most to our community.
Mission
The long term goal of Northern Oak Media is to build an infrastructure of creative collaboration in the State of Maine; one that makes a positive impact on the local entertainment industry, provides work to artists, creators and storytellers, provides opportunities to nonprofits, raises awareness of exemplary businesses and brands, and intrinsically benefits every community and every citizen of Maine.
